They make the pitch / presentation about them.
“My company did this, we have done that, I did X, and then I can do Y…”
If you’re talking about yourself, you’ll lose your prospect’s attention.
The BEST way to get them interested in you is to talk about THEM!
Is your pitch I-focused? Or is it you-focused?
Today, make a decision to start every presentation / client meeting by making it about them (by asking questions, talking about their challenges or opportunities, etc). Once you show you care about them, only then will they care about what you have to say.
